The making of a real life video

There are now several dozens of Real Life Videos and ErgoVideos which can be used on the Amadasport Bikes. The collection contains, among others, cycling classics, mountain stages and special training videos with the pros. Many top riders worked together with our partner Tacx in recent years to create their own film, such as Frank and Andy Schleck and Cadel Evans and the teams of Rabobank, Saxo Bank, Quick Step, Astana and Lampre.

Of course the best female rider of the moment had to be part of the collection as well. ''I'm very proud to have my own film now'', Marianne Vos said after recording her video. Below is an impression.

1 Marianne Vos is ready to go. The multiple world champion has mapped out a 80 kilometre (50 mile) itinerary through her native area in the Netherlands.
2 The Tacx product manager and camera man Phil Stone are going to follow the riders closely and will record all of their movements with a special camera.
3 Accompanied by Annemiek van Vleuten, her team mate, Marianne Vos takes to the road for a completely flat film.
4 Vos grabs her Tacx water bottle for some refreshment. It's the only stop on this itinerary for there are no traffic lights.
5 Vos and Van Vleuten continue to ride through the rural course with lots of water, dikes, windmills, bridges and farms.
6 After a perfect ride Vos returns home. She can now add a very special trophy to her cabinet: her own Tacx film.

Trek Leopard riders compete on the Ixion Bike!

After a challenging test, Joost was only one second faster then Tom.

Amada bikes used for Parkinson treatment investigation

A research study using our Ixion trainingbikes as a Parkinson's disease therapy treatment will be started by Prof.Dr. Bas Bloem from the Netherlands and Biomechanical engineer Jay Alberts from Cleveland hospital.
From September twenty bikes will be used by Parkinson disease patients.
